To manage the components controllable under Plesk and choosing the default ones, select the Component Info icon on the Server Administration page.
The component version information is refreshed every 24 hours. When updating system components, you might have to reboot the server or restart the "Plesk Management Service" to have the component versions displayed correctly. This page displays the information on components controllable under that are installed on the current server and allows to choose which components you want to use for the corresponding system services. For example, you can choose what program you want to use as a mail server or antivirus software. You can also configure some selected components. The table presents data on each Component name and Component version. Some of the component names in the first column are underlined, which means you can choose program you want to use for this component. Click this name and Plesk will take you to the page of choosing the program for this service. If some entry is grayed, this means that the software corresponding to this entry is not installed or properly configured. Some selected components (e.g. Merak Mail Server) have their names underlined too. This means you can configure some of their options, available on the individual basis. To do this, click their names. After clicking the OK button, Plesk will start the selected components and then use them by default. |
